Can't beat trying to track down weird bugs.
First there's disbelief - this surely can't actually happen?
Then, frustration - I can't get this to happen for me!
Then, delight - aha - I can make it happen!
But then, bewilderment - how does that occur?
Finally, enlightenment - of course, it's obvious that would happen.
And at that point, the fix is usually relatively easy to find. In the end, it's almost always an anti-climax. Very rarely is the universe conspiring against you, as much as it might feel like it. Instead, it's far more likely to be the interaction of two or more other things in a way that wasn't anticipated.
