Today is back to long run day. Fortunately, it's also the day after the traditional Wednesday consumption of cheesy chips.
As a result, plenty of energy reserves for the increased distance!
Just as well - the additional mile and more is quite intimidating, since my body just wants to take the nice enticing downhill route on the second loop, not the daunting uphill route.
Willpower is almost more important than physical stamina when running sometimes. It's all in the mind.
