Aches and pains
Saturday, 5th January 2019Unsure if it’s the early starts, or simply the week off, but I’ve got a few aches and pains from running. My left knee is a bit tender and my right achilles tendon is also rather sore. Fortunately they balance out so I can still run in a straight line!

Tinkering
Friday, 4th January 2019Not unexpectedly, the last few days have seen a fair bit of tinkering with this blog - first to get it to live, and then to make it look a bit nicer. Undoubtedly, there’s still work to be done (particularly in the non-article pages!), and I continue to poke and prod at it - not only to make things look better but also to have a logical (to me) organisation and as a means to familiarise myself with Gatsby some more.

New browser
Thursday, 3rd January 2019For the longest time, I used Chrome. Then one day I started trying to move away from all things Google - not for any particular reason, but just to spread things out a bit more. So, I moved my email from Gmail to FastMail, changed from Google search to DuckDuckGo, and switched my browser to Safari.

Morning routine
Wednesday, 2nd January 2019With a new year, a new morning routine. I’ve been pretty consistently getting up at 7:00am every morning for the past few months. It gives me time to wake up and acclimatise to the day before getting stuck in fully. What it hasn’t included, up to now has been a run.
